When a scene contains two or more identical figures, e.g. two base Genesis 8 Females, textures are only rendered correctly on one figure after import. The other figures are rendered completely black after import. The immediate reason for this is that the plugin only creates a UV map for one of the figures, called 'Base Female': the other figures have no UV map defined.

Elisa for Genesis 8 Female G8F is a character, female, children for Genesis 8 Female for Daz Studio or Poser created by kalamanko. My impression is that after a Genesis 8 Female (G8F) release it may be to late to make any drastic major changes to Genesis 8 Male (G8M). Holding G8M back for some potential minor bug fixes does not seem crucial.Just releasing G8M with head, body morphs and expressions would be enough to start the new male generation.
The same issue affects the eyelashes on the G8F figures. I see the same problem with multiple G3F figures, but there is no issue with a scene containing one G3F and one G8F.
I am using version 1.4 of the plugin with Blender 2.80.
It is possible to work around the issue by transferring the UV maps from the figure that has a map to the figure(s) that do not.
I believe the code causing the issue is in geometry.py, in the ‘build’ method of the UVset class. Here there is a test:
which when true causes the method to simply return and not proceed to create a UV map. When processing the first figure, self.built is false and a new UV map is created. When the second and subsequent G8F figure is processed, self.built is True because the 'Base Female' UV map has been built for the first G8F figure and so no UV map is created for any other G8F figure processed later. The code does not recognize that a new figure with a new mesh has been created ( perhaps because the mesh is identical) and that the new mesh instance does not have a UV map defined.
